Duckworth Law Firm, PLLC is a personal injury, criminal defense, and general litigation law firm. I founded this firm on the guiding principal that helping others is a privilege. Practicing law is a second career for me. Becoming a lawyer was always a dream of mine. After spending several years in the car business, with the support of my wife and family, I decided to chase that dream. I worked hard to become a lawyer, completing my undergraduate degree while working full time and raising a family. I then attended law school here in Memphis. During my first few years of practice, I learned that many lawyers hate their jobs. I am not one of them. I absolutely love practicing law. More specifically, I love fighting for my clients. Whether it be a car wreck, medical malpractice, or criminal defense matter, I am dedicated to achieving the best result possible for my clients. As an avid fan of the underdog, I enjoy a fight. I enjoy taking on insurance companies who bully and refuse to fully compensate those who have been injured through no fault of their own. I enjoy representing those charged with crimes to insure that my clients receive due process and do not have their constitutional rights trampled.
As a lifelong Memphian, I love this city and its people. It is a privilege to live and work here and to help my fellow Memphians and neighbors in Mississippi.
